• $34 per hour (Based on experience) Job Type Full-time
• 40 hours per week Overtime opportunities available What You'll Do Operate production machinery, including computer-controlled equipment Run equipment such as CNC plate processors, burn tables, drill lines, saws, angle masters, drill presses, ironworkers, and blast cabinets Read and interpret drawings and work instructions to position and process materials accurately Use overhead bridge cranes and lifting devices to load/unload steel Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines Conduct quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications Cross-train across multiple machines and processes What We're Looking For Experience operating industrial or CNC equipment preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machines Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Safety-focused mindset in a busy shop environment Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented Flexible and willing to support production needs as required Benefits & Perks Opportunity to earn up to 20% of your annual pay through our company bonus program Safety bonus potential•earn up to $1,600 annually for working safely Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP)•100% company-funded retirement benefit 401(k) with company match Dental insurance 100% FREE vision insurance Health insurance (company typically covers 60-70% of employee premium costs) Employee Assistance Program Aflac available Identity Theft Protection available Paid time off Referral program Physical Requirements Lift and move up to 50 lbs unassisted Frequent bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling Operate powered industrial equipment and vehicles Work in a warehouse environment with noise, dust, uneven surfaces, and changing conditions Maintain strong visual awareness (depth perception, clarity, color vision) Exposure to noise, dust, water, odors, and heavy machinery Why Join STS Steel?
