Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Two to five years of related CNC experience or equivalent training Ability to read drawings, program sheets, and process instructions Experience setting up and operating CNC laser or punch equipment Ability to install punches, dies, and tooling Proficiency with measuring instruments and basic computer technology Basic math skills involving fractions, decimals, ratios, and percentages Strong troubleshooting, organization, and communication skills Dependable attendance and ability to work effectively with a team Willingness to cross-train or assist other departments
Job Duties:
Set up and operate CNC laser and punch machines Select and load materials for each production order Install the appropriate punches, dies, and tooling Monitor equipment for worn tools, damage, or malfunctions Diagnose operating issues and notify supervisors of discrepancies Measure completed parts for specification compliance Clean machines, tooling, and finished components Perform routine equipment maintenance Complete production work accurately and efficiently Follow all quality, safety, and security procedures Assist other production areas as needed Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage. What You Will Do As a CNC Laser and Punch Operator you will set up, operate, monitor, and adjust CNC machining equipment to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications. You will verify machine setups, inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain tooling, and support quality and production goals while following established safety and manufacturing procedures. A CNC Laser and Punch Operator helps manufacture precision-engineered products through the operation and monitoring of CNC machinery. This position requires strong technical skills, blueprint interpretation, and the ability to consistently produce accurate work.
