Competitive wage based on experience Position Summary We are seeking an experienced CNC Setup Operator to join our manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC equipment, with a strong background in laser cutting operations. This position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to producing high-quality parts while maintaining a safe work environment. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machinery and laser cutting equipment according to production requirements. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings. Load materials and perform machine adjustments to ensure quality and efficiency. Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using measuring tools and gauges. Troubleshoot machine and program issues and make necessary setup adjustments. Monitor machine performance and production output to meet quality and productivity standards. Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Accurately document production and quality records. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of CNC setup and operation experience. Experience with laser cutting machines preferred. Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Proficiency using measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. High school diploma or GED preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience with sheet metal fabrication. CNC programming knowledge is a plus. Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles. Pay:
$21.00 - $26.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
