We are looking for a skilled CNC Lathe Programmer / Machinist to join our Sacramento machine shop. If you know G-code inside and out, take pride in turning raw copper, brass, and stainless steel into high-precision engineering components, and want a role where you aren't just pushing a button—we want to talk to you.

What You'll Do Program & Setup:

Write and optimize G-code/M-code programs (at the control and using CAM/Mastercam) for multi-axis CNC lathes.

Precision Machining:

Machine tight-tolerance ($\pm 0.0005"$) components using marine-grade brass, copper, stainless steel, and Teflon. Blueprint to

Work directly from engineering prints and GD&T specs to setup tooling, set offsets, and execute first-article inspections.

Optimize:

Fine-tune feeds, speeds, and tool paths to maximize shop efficiency and cut down cycle times.

High School Responsibilities Experience:

Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Lathe Programmer/Machinist in a precision manufacturing environment.

Programming Skills:

proficiency in G-code/M-code programming (Fanuc, Haas, or Mazak controls preferred) and experience with CAM software (Mastercam, Edgecam, or equivalent).

Material Knowledge:

Demonstrated experience machining non-ferrous soft metals (copper, brass) as well as tough materials (stainless steel) without deformation or galling.

Measurement & Inspection:

Proficient with precision hand inspection tools and GD&T standards.

Physical Capabilities:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long shifts, and work safely in a machine shop setting.
