Overview Join our innovative manufacturing team as a Manufacturing Engineer/CNC Programer specializing in CNC programming! In this dynamic role, you will be at the forefront of precision cabinet machining, utilizing your expertise to develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs for complex components. Your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with CAD/CAM software will drive efficiency and quality in our manufacturing processes. Duties Develop, test, and refine CNC programs for CNC milling machines, ensuring optimal machining performance. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings using GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards to accurately translate design intent into machine instructions. Set up machining tools and fixtures, including tooling selection for CNC machining operations, ensuring proper alignment and calibration using measurement tools such as bore gauges, calipers, micrometers, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Program CNC equipment using CAM software (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) integrated with CAD software like Cabient Vision, Mozaik and/or AlphaCam, to create precise machining paths. Conduct precision measurements during manufacturing to verify part dimensions meet quality standards; utilize measurement instruments like micrometers, bore gauges, calipers, and CMMs for quality control. Implement lean manufacturing principles to streamline processes, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency across machining operations. Collaborate with engineers and machinists to troubleshoot machining issues, optimize tool paths, and improve cycle times on CNC milling machines. Experience Proven experience programming CNC machines. Strong proficiency with CAD/CAM software including AutoCad, Cabient Vision, Mozaik and/or AlphaCam Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. Experience working within lean manufacturing environments to enhance productivity and reduce waste. Knowledge of measurement techniques using precision measuring instruments like bore gauges, micrometers, calipers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), bore gauges, bore gauges and schematics for quality assurance.
