Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will apply mechanical knowledge and computer software within a manufacturing process to safely provide precision cut parts from raw material.Duties:
- Load and unload castings and raw materials in CNC machinery properly and safely
- Independently set up, program, operate and troubleshoot CNC machines to fabricate parts with precision; Understanding of tools and router machinery
- Able to follow and train on procedures regarding maintenance, tool change and day to day operation; Able to perform and train operators; Able to maintain detailed maintenance logs and schedule maintenance with outside contractor as needed
- Able to utilize gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements; Recognize, deploy and properly use inserts, fixtures and tooling
- Able to read and interpret blueprints
- Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions
Requirements:
- Proficiency in CNC programming and machining techniques
- Basic math calculations involving fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions
- Preferred proficiency with AutoCAD, EnRout, and Microsoft Office products, including Excel and Outlook
