Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking either someone with a desire to learn or someone who already has experience in CNC Programming to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) programs to ensure precision machining of complex components. Your expertise in CAD/CAM software, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will drive efficiency and quality in our machining processes. Duties Develop and write CNC programs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software such Aspire and AutoCAD to produce detailed machining instructions for the CNC machine. Interpret mechanical blueprints and engineering drawings for specifications to ensure precise manufacturing. Set up CNC machining tools, including tooling selection and fixture installation, on equipment such as CNC milling machines and lathes, ensuring optimal operation. Conduct precision measurements using measurement instruments like calipers to verify part accuracy against specifications. Troubleshoot machining issues by analyzing geometry, tooling wear, and machine performance; adjust programs accordingly for continuous improvement. Experience Experience is not necessary, willing to train the right person. Although experience will be a plus and considered higher for employment. General computer knowledge required. Knowledge of standard measurements down to 1/16" of accuracy. Pay:
$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
