ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a high-energy, positive, dependable and skilled team player to create, adjust and troubleshoot programs on precision machinery for our manufacturing group.
Shift Hours:
On-Site Monday through Thursday 6:30am-5:00pm DUTIES Create, modify and optimize CNC programs for router-based machining of wood and plastic components Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and collaborate with tech support as needed Assist operators with machine setups, tool changes and first-article inspections Identify and resolve production issues to ensure accurate and efficient part output Inspect parts for quality and dimensional accuracy using measurement tools when needed Work closely with the Production Manager to support manufacturing needs and workflow improvements Maintain accurate documentation of programs, setup sheets and troubleshooting steps Follow all health and safety rules to reduce the risk of workplace injury Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 2
years CNC experience+ years of experience programming CNC routers, experience with wood materials is required. Experience with plastic materials is preferred. Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, Woodwop, etc.) Strong understanding of CNC machine operation, G-code and tooling Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Strong communication and teamwork abilities
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School or Equivalent Certification or Associates Degree in CNC Programming
