Since 1916, Laciny Bros. has specialized in high end custom fabrication in a wide variety of industries, that demands creativity, precision, and quality craftsmanship. We offer a fast paced, rewarding work environment working with highly customized, high-end machinery - if you have the skills and passion for the industry, this is the position for you! Qualification and Skills An ideal candidate has:
  • At least 7 years' experience in machining (either manual or CNC)
  • At least 5 years' experience programing and machining complex parts from various materials (primarily stainless steel) to correct specifications and tolerances.
  • Proficient experience in using Mastercam
  • Has experience with Okuma Machining Centers and/or Mazak Lathes An ideal candidate is able to:
  • Interpret job specifications, blueprints, job orders, etc. and then program, set-up and run parts accordingly
  • Be a self-starter and understand accountability in a job shop environment
  • Work autonomously while also being a team player
  • Is willing and able to multi-task (deburr parts, perform inspections, program while machines are running)
  • Display a high degree of mechanical aptitude
  • Understand the complexities of various materials and how to machine them properly (hard metals, soft metals, plastics, etc.)
  • Understand and execute complex set-ups, while designing and creating fixtures to support your approaches
  • Is versatile, curious, motivated and able to overcome challenges as they arise
  • Candidate must have a firm understanding of a job shop environment and working for a small business (we are not a production shop, which means you get to program, setup and machine new parts on a daily basis)
  • The compensation being offered includes wages and health insurance, which is 100% company paid.
Additional compensation can be made through overtime, bonuses, profit sharing and a 401(k) match
