Engineer Tool & Die Shop / CNC Machinist

Job Description

Full-Time | Onsite | Reidsville, NC Hands-on role supporting tooling design, machining, process improvement, troubleshooting, equipment repair, and production needs in an automotive manufacturing environment.
What You'll Do Project Lead:
Design and produce parts, tooling, fixtures, repair components, and deliver solutions with excellent time managment. Use CAD/CAM for design, programming, and part development from concept through completion. Program, set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC mills and lathes . Operate manual mills, manual lathes, manual grinders , and related toolroom equipment. Support Wire EDM processes and 3D printing . Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, specifications, and part requirements. Experience We're Looking For CAD/CAM design and programming. CNC programming and machining. Part design and tooling development. Manual mill, lathe, and grinder experience. Wire EDM and/or 3D printing exposure. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Even Better If You Have Experience With Siemens
NX CAD/CAM
Fusion 360, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Mastercam Bambu Lab 3D printing systems Automotive manufacturing tooling and process support. Welding. Leading tooling development, new designs, process implementation, or equipment repair. Minimum Qualifications — Education OR Experience Degree or technical certificate in Precision Machining Technology or comparable field. OR 3+ years of related engineering/CNC machinist experience, including hands-on mills and lathes, CAD/CAM, CNC programming, blueprint reading, and tooling/part design for repairs or modifications . Advanced Candidates Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology , plus 1-2 years related experience. OR 5 years of combined education and experience in machining, CAD/CAM, CNC programming, tooling, and automotive manufacturing . Work Environment Automotive manufacturing plant and toolroom environment.
Pay:
$55,000-$86,000
Schedule:
