CNC Operator/Programmer Berwick, PA Full-Time Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Programmer for a well-established manufacturing company in the Berwick, PA area. This position is ideal for a skilled machining professional who has experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC equipment while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. Position Summary The CNC Operator/Programmer will be responsible for creating and modifying CNC programs, setting up machinery, operating production equipment, and inspecting finished products to ensure compliance with specifications. The successful candidate will be highly detail-oriented and capable of working independently in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Program, set up, and operate CNC machines for production and custom machining projects Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications Develop, edit, and optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency and quality Select proper tooling, fixtures, and machine parameters Perform machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers Conduct in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments Troubleshoot machining and programming issues Maintain accurate production records and documentation Ensure compliance with company safety and quality standards Collaborate with engineering and production teams to meet project requirements and deadlines Qualifications Previous experience as a CNC Operator, CNC Programmer, or CNC Machinist Strong understanding of G-Code and CNC programming principles Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or other machining equipment Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and precision measurement techniques Experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team High school diploma or equivalent required Technical training or machining certifications preferred Preferred Skills CAD/CAM software experience Multi-axis machining experience Lean manufacturing or continuous improvement experience Strong attention to detail and quality control standards Benefits Competitive pay based on experience Full-time stable employment Opportunities for growth and advancement Comprehensive benefits package available through the employer Apply Today Express Employment Professionals is seeking qualified CNC professionals who are ready to bring their programming and machining expertise to a growing manufacturing organization in the Berwick area.
