Pol-Tech Machining is looking for a skilled CNC Machinist / Programmer to join their team in Woodruff, SC! Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC machines to produce precision machined components Write, edit, and optimize CNC programs using G-code and CAM software Read and interpret engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications Perform in-process quality inspections using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges Troubleshoot machining issues and make program or tooling adjustments as needed Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding equipment for each job Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop standards

Requirements:

Proven experience as a CNC Machinist and/or CNC Programmer in a precision machining environment Proficiency in G-code programming and CAM software (Mastercam) Specifically looking for expertise in Swiss Lathe, EDM (or willing to learn quickly), and/or multi-axis milling (3, 3+2, full 5). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T callouts Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or multi-axis machining centers Strong understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling, and material properties Detail-oriented with a commitment to tight tolerances and quality workmanship Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced shop environment
