We are in search of 3 Mill Operators and 1 Lathe Operator. In this role, you will operate and set up CNC machines, including lathes and milling machines, to produce precision metal parts and components. Your expertise in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and mechanical knowledge will ensure the highest quality standards are met. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes while working with advanced machining tools and technology. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for precision machining, we want to hear from you! Duties Set up, program, and operate CNC machines such as CNC lathes and milling machines using G-code and M-code programming languages. Interpret mechanical blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to produce accurate parts. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and other measurement tools to ensure quality control. Conduct machine setup including tooling selection, fixture installation, and calibration for optimal performance. Utilize CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software like SolidWorks and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) programming to develop machining programs. Maintain a clean, organized work area while adhering to safety protocols; operate manual machining tools when necessary. Perform quality inspections on finished parts, identify deviations from specifications, and make adjustments as needed. Support lean manufacturing initiatives by identifying process improvements and reducing waste through efficient machining practices. Assist with welding, grinding, or assembly tasks as required to complete finished products. Operate forklifts and power tools safely for material handling and equipment setup. Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Machinist or in a similar manufacturing role with hands-on experience in CNC programming and machine operation. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical blueprints accurately. Proficiency in CNC G-code programming (Fanuc or similar controllers), M-code editing, and CAM software such as SolidWorks or CAD programs. Skilled in using precision measurement instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, dial indicators, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM). Familiarity with machining tools such as grinders, hand tools, power tools, and tooling setup procedures. Knowledge of metal machining processes including CNC milling, turning on lathe machines, manual machining techniques, and grinding operations. Understanding of GD&T principles for accurate measurement and quality control of machined parts. Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and mechanical drawings confidently. Basic math skills for calculations related to machining dimensions and tolerances. Mechanical aptitude combined with safety awareness; ability to operate forklifts responsibly is a plus. Prior experience with plastics injection molding or working within lean manufacturing environments is advantageous. Join our team today! Bring your expertise in CNC machining to a company dedicated to innovation, quality craftsmanship, and continuous improvement. We value your skills in precision measurement, machine setup, programming excellence—and your commitment to producing top-tier components that meet rigorous standards!
