In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing computer numerical control (CNC) programs that drive precision machining operations. Your expertise will ensure the production of high-quality components by interpreting mechanical blueprints, utilizing CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to innovative manufacturing processes and enhance operational efficiency through advanced CNC programming techniques. Responsibilities Develop and write CNC programs for various machines including 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines and 2 and 4 axis CNC lathes using Fusion CAD/CAM software. Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise machining specifications. Troubleshoot equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Operate CNC machinery safely while adhering to all safety protocols and industry standards. Set up tooling, fixtures, and workpieces accurately on CNC machines for production runs. Conduct quality checks using coordinate measuring machines (CMM) and other inspection tools to verify dimensional accuracy. Collaborate with manufacturing teams to improve machining processes, reduce waste, and increase productivity through continuous improvement initiatives. Experience Proven experience in CNC programming for both milling machines and lathes within a manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, along with CAM programming tools like Mastercam or Fusion 360. Familiarity with equipment troubleshooting, machine operation, and safety protocol adherence. Knowledge of 3D printing processes and integrating them into manufacturing workflows is a plus. Experience working with coordinate measuring machines (CMM) for precision inspection is desirable. Prior exposure to welding, tooling setup, schematic reading, and understanding of manufacturing principles will enhance your effectiveness in this role. Join us to be part of a forward-thinking team dedicated to precision craftsmanship! Your expertise will help shape innovative products while advancing your career in a vibrant manufacturing environment that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
