Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer Lead to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimizing computer numerical control (CNC) programs that direct the operation of machining equipment such as CNC milling machines and CNC lathes. This role is vital in ensuring precision manufacturing, efficient production workflows, and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) software, and experience with various machining techniques including 3D printing and welding.

6 hours Must manage hours to provide coverage and overlap between both A and B shifts Responsibilities Previous CNC operator/programmer experience required Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Knowledge of CNC setup, operation, and programming Familiarity with G-code preferred Experience with CAD/CAM or V-Carve preferred Strong mechanical skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Qualifications Proven experience as a CNC Programmer or in a similar manufacturing role with a focus on machining operations. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, along with CAM programming tools. Experience operating CNC milling machines and CNC lathes effectively. Knowledge of equipment troubleshooting and mechanical systems maintenance. Familiarity with 3D printing technologies and their integration into manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret schematics, tooling diagrams, and manufacturing plans. Understanding of safety protocols related to machining environments. Basic welding skills are a plus but not mandatory. Excellent attention to detail coupled with problem-solving skills to optimize machining workflows.
