Laser Programmer Pay:

$24

33/HR Turn blueprints into precision-built results. We're looking for an experienced Laser Programmer who can develop and optimize machine programs, maximize material efficiency, and support production in a fast-paced sheet metal fabrication environment. Responsibilities
Create, test, and manage programs for laser cutting machines using CAM software
Review engineering drawings, job packets, and material specifications for accuracy
Optimize nesting layouts to maximize material utilization and reduce waste
Collaborate with machine operators to troubleshoot programming issues and improve performance
Maintain organized program libraries and revision records
Communicate with production, engineering, and planning teams to keep projects on schedule
Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures Qualifications
Experience programming laser cutting machines in a sheet metal fabrication environment
Proficiency with CAM software; Amada VPSS, BySoft, or similar platforms preferred
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Strong computer and file management skills
Working knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
