In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality finishes to cabinetry and related furniture components, ensuring a polished, professional appearance that meets strict quality standards. Your expertise in industrial painting techniques, surface preparation, and coating application will contribute to delivering exceptional products to our clients. Duties Prepare cabinet surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply coatings using conventional spray guns, airless paint spraying, or powder coating methods while adhering to safety protocols and quality standards Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment for fabrication, assembly, and surface finishing tasks Interpret production documents such as work orders, blueprints, and technical specifications to meet project requirements accurately Operate forklifts and cranes for materials handling within the warehouse or manufacturing floor safely and efficiently Conduct visual color comparisons and inspect finished surfaces for consistency, color accuracy, and defect detection Follow all safety procedures including PPE use such as respirators, respiratory protection gear, and adherence to industrial painting safety protocols Requirements Proven experience in industrial finishing, powder coating, or construction painting surface preparation Knowledge of coating materials, application techniques (including conventional spraying and airless paint spraying), and coating inspection standards Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes, auto body repair techniques, welding, machining, and auto painting is highly desirable Ability to interpret production documents accurately and utilize precision measuring instruments for quality control Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and warehouse operations enhances efficiency in workflow management Strong understanding of safety protocols including PPE use such as respirators and respiratory protection equipment Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to coating thicknesses, material usage, and production documentation Join us in creating outstanding cabinetry with precision craftsmanship!
