In this role, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to vehicles, ensuring a flawless appearance that meets manufacturer standards and customer expectations. Your skills in surface preparation, spraying techniques, and auto restoration will play a vital part in delivering exceptional service and restoring vehicles to their original beauty. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply primers, base coats, clear coats, and specialty finishes using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment Perform surface repairs including sanding, filling, and refinishing to achieve smooth, even surfaces ready for painting Use automotive buffing machines and polishing tools to enhance paint finish and restore vehicle luster Conduct auto body repairs such as welding, panel alignment, and minor structural fixes when necessary before painting Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols including proper use of respiratory protection and handling of paints and chemicals Assist with auto restoration projects by preparing surfaces, applying coatings, and performing detailing tasks to meet customer specifications Requirements Proven experience in auto body repair or dealership environment with a strong background in auto painting techniques Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, grinders, sanders, buffing equipment, and spray guns for automotive applications Knowledge of automotive surface preparation including masking, sanding, priming, and finishing processes Ability to operate spray equipment such as conventional spray guns and airless paint sprayers with precision Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle maintenance, auto glass replacement, and auto restoration processes Experience with welding and auto body refinishing is highly desirable Strong attention to detail combined with excellent customer service skills for effective communication with clients and team members Physical ability for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in various environmental conditions Dealership experience or familiarity with automotive estimating is a plus but not required Join us if you're passionate about automotive craftsmanship!
