- Iron Horse Restorations is hiring a skilled Automotive Painter to join our premier restoration and custom paint team.
We specialize in bringing classic muscle, vintage trucks, and high-end hot rods back to life. If you are passionate about flawless finishes, block sanding to perfection, and spraying premium coatings, we want you in our booth. What We Offer Top-tier pay based on experience. Responsibilities Perform full paint jobs from bare metal to final clear coat. Mix, match, and tint paint to exact factory or custom specifications. Prep surfaces meticulously , including masking, priming, and block sanding. Color sand and buff to achieve a show-quality, mirror finish. Maintain paint booth cleanliness and spray equipment functionality. Requirements 3+ years of experience in automotive painting or high-end restoration. Expertise with solvent and waterborne paint systems. Strong eye for detail to spot and fix surface imperfections. Reliable work ethic and a pride-in-workmanship mindset. Valid driver's license and your own custom spray guns (preferred).
