This energetic role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of auto body repair projects, utilizing your skills in painting, sanding, and surface preparation. You will be instrumental in delivering high-quality finishes that exceed customer expectations while maintaining a safe and efficient workspace. Duties Prepare vehicle surfaces through sanding, masking, and surface cleaning to ensure optimal paint adhesion. Apply primer, paint, and clear coats using conventional spray guns or airless paint spraying equipment with precision and attention to detail. Perform auto body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and welding to restore vehicle integrity. Use power tools such as grinders, sanders, and buffing machines to achieve smooth surfaces and flawless finishes. Conduct auto restoration tasks by repairing or replacing damaged parts, ensuring vehicles meet safety and quality standards. Maintain proper use of respiratory protection and other safety equipment during painting and sanding processes. Collaborate with team members on vehicle maintenance tasks, detailing, and customer service to deliver exceptional results. Qualifications Proven experience in auto body repair, auto painting, or dealership service centers is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of automotive buffing, sanding techniques, and surface preparation methods. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, grinders, and spray guns for painting and bodywork. Experience with welding and mechanical repairs is a plus. Familiarity with automotive surface preparation, masking techniques, and auto restoration processes. Ability to lift heavy parts safely and work efficiently in a physically demanding environment. Excellent attention to detail combined with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
