Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure surfaces are properly prepared, coated, and finished to meet client specifications and safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Execute a variety of painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless paint spraying), and conventional spraying methods on diverse surfaces Apply coatings accurately on structural elements such as stucco, drywall, wood, metal, and concrete in both interior and exterior settings Interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine the appropriate materials and methods for each project Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely to reach high or difficult areas while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Conduct surface preparation for construction site projects including renovation work, maintenance tasks, or remodeling efforts Perform industrial painting tasks when required, ensuring compliance with safety standards such as respiratory protection and hazard mitigation measures Assist with fixture installation or minor handyman tasks as needed during project phases Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and project progress for accountability and quality assurance Skills Extensive experience in residential painting with strong knowledge of color theory for achieving desired aesthetic effects Proficiency in construction estimating related to paint quantities and project timelines Skilled in surface preparation techniques specific to construction painting environments Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise application of coatings Familiarity with various coating types including primers, sealers, stains, lacquers, epoxies, and industrial coatings Expertise in using hand tools such as scrapers, putty knives, brushes; power tools including sanders and airless sprayers; and equipment like ladders or scaffolding safely Knowledge of safety regulations including proper use of respiratory protection during spray applications or hazardous material handling Strong understanding of visual color comparison techniques to match shades accurately across projects Basic math skills for measuring surfaces and calculating material needs efficiently Experience with construction site activities such as remodeling or renovation projects involving fixture installation or maintenance tasks Join us if you're passionate about delivering exceptional craftsmanship with energy and precision!
