Summary:

Monterey & Blackfin Boats is currently recruiting an experienced Gel Coater to work on fiberglass boats - Auto Body paint experience usually translated well to this job. This is a night shift position from 12:00am until 10:45am Monday - Thursday. With a $1,000.00 incentive bonus for completing 90 days of employment as a Gel Coater.

Skills and Abilities:

Performs in mold application of gel coat on decks, hulls, liners, and small parts. Has a working knowledge of gel coat spray equipment, tip sizes, pump pressures and catalyst ratios. Ability to test gel coating spray equipment to make sure it is operating properly. Detail oriented, quality minded, able to follow specific application procedures. Ability to read work orders and fill out process document sheets for gel coat color application.

Requirements:

1 year gelcoat experience Employer conducts drug screening and PFT breathing test. PPE respirator required, must pass a pulmonary test. Other PPE required safety glasses gloves, Tyvek suits. Must have transportation. Must be punctual and reliable.

Physical Demands:

Candidate will be required to lift, pull push, bend, squat, climb. A gel coater must be able to hold a spray gun for extended periods of time while gel coating parts.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position Monday - Thursday from 12:00 am - 10:45 am. Must be willing to work overtime as needed to complete daily production requirements.

Salary:
