Job Description
Industrial Painter / Coating Technician Eagle Tubular Products - Alton, IL Eagle Tubular Products is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Painter / Coating Technician to join our team in Alton, Illinois. We are a distributor and fabricator of carbon steel pipe and tube products serving industrial customers throughout the region. This position is responsible for preparing, coating, and finishing steel pipe and tube products while maintaining high quality and safety standards. Responsibilities Prepare steel surfaces for painting and coating applications Apply industrial coatings, primers, and finishes using spray equipment and other methods Operate and maintain paint and coating equipment safely Inspect finished products to ensure quality and consistency Mix coatings and materials according to specifications Maintain clean and organized work areas and equipment Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental guidelines Assist with material handling and other shop duties as needed Qualifications Previous industrial painting or coating experience preferred Experience with spray systems, surface preparation, and industrial coatings is a plus Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work safely in an industrial environment Dependable attendance and strong work ethic Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift Forklift or skid steer experience is a plus, but not required What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time, stable employment Overtime opportunities available Health benefits and paid time off Family-oriented work environment Opportunity for advancement and long-term growth About Eagle Tubular Products Eagle Tubular Products is a trusted distributor and fabricator of carbon steel pipe and tube products.
