Duties Prepare surfaces meticulously through sanding, scraping, cleaning, and surface repair to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using various techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless and conventional spray), and construction spray painting for diverse project needs Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and color schemes to accurately execute design specifications Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform surface preparation, caulking, plastering, drywall installation, and fixture installation Conduct surface testing and visual color comparisons to achieve consistent color matching and coating quality Follow strict safety regulations by utilizing respiratory protection equipment and adhering to safety protocols on construction sites Perform maintenance tasks such as masonry repairs, stucco application, trim carpentry, framing, and basic carpentry work as needed for comprehensive project completion Qualifications Proven experience in construction painting with a strong understanding of surface preparation and coating techniques Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless), brushes, rollers, and scaffolding or ladders for elevated work Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics Familiarity with safety regulations related to construction site work and respiratory protection practices Ability to work efficiently on residential, commercial, or industrial projects with minimal supervision Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to paint quantities and surface areas Experience in renovation, restoration, drywall installation, plastering or masonry is highly desirable Strong attention to detail with an eye for color accuracy and surface quality Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards Join us in creating inspiring spaces!
