Job Title:

Powder Coat Painter You will spend the majority of each shift hand painting parts in a spray booth, working with pre-loaded racks and using professional painting equipment in a controlled environment. Shift +

Pay:

6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday) $20hr Responsibilities Hand paint metal or industrial parts using powder coating techniques in a spray booth for approximately six hours per shift. Pull pre-loaded racks of parts into the spray booth and ensure each part receives consistent and high-quality coverage. Operate spray guns and related powder coating equipment safely and efficiently. Follow established industrial painting procedures and quality standards to achieve the required finish. Prepare parts for painting as needed, including basic paint prep tasks to ensure proper adhesion and finish. Wear and properly use assigned protective equipment, including paint suit, helmet, and eventually a respirator when required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the spray booth and surrounding production space. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols related to powder coating, industrial painting, and equipment operation. Essential Skills Hands-on experience with powder coating processes in an industrial setting. Proficiency using spray guns for powder coating and industrial painting applications. Experience with industrial painting, including working in spray booths and on production parts. Ability to perform basic paint prep tasks to ensure quality finishes. Capability to work on your feet for extended periods while painting parts by hand. Willingness and ability to wear a paint suit, helmet, and respirator as required for the role. Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent coverage and high-quality finishes on all parts. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in industrial paint prep is beneficial. Familiarity with handling racks of parts and working in a production or manufacturing environment. Comfort working with personal protective equipment and following safety protocols. Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work takes place in an industrial production facility, primarily inside a spray booth dedicated to powder coating operations. Parts arrive pre-loaded on racks, which you will move into the booth for painting. You will use spray guns and other industrial painting equipment in a controlled environment. The role requires wearing a paint suit and a helmet that is air conditioned and equipped with a light to enhance comfort and visibility. You will eventually be fitted for a respirator, which will be used as needed. The facility operates with standard industrial safety practices and expects adherence to all safety and cleanliness standards. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
