Industrial Wet Spray Coatings Technician Picture your day: the booth lights up, gauges steady, and a steel assembly rotates into position. You confirm the spec sheet, verify the color code and mix ratios, and lay down a uniform wet coat that meets customer requirements the first time. Whether you start at 6:00 a.m. or 2:30 p.m., your precision keeps production on time and quality on point. What You'll Do Prepare steel parts for coating through cleaning, masking, and staging on fixtures. Apply primer and paint using professional wet-spray techniques to customer specifications. Review and interpret written and verbal instructions, specifications, color codes, and mixing charts. Operate spray guns, hoppers, and booth collection systems safely and effectively. Monitor equipment readings and observe operation to identify and correct defects. Evaluate paint flow and finish quality via consistent visual inspections. Meet productivity, quality, and on-time performance targets for each order. Follow all safety standards to maintain a safe, clean work area. Load and unload parts to and from fixtures as needed to support throughput. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on all finishing equipment. Use, store, and dispose of paints, solvents, and related waste properly. What You Bring Previous industrial painting experience (required), specifically with liquid/wet application. Hands-on knowledge of paint equipment mechanics and basic repair. Strong attention to detail and finish quality. Ability to perform all essential duties with minimal supervision in a fast-paced setting. Commitment to maintaining a safe and orderly workspace. Working Environment This role is based in a manufacturing environment and routinely uses paint equipment. During normal duties you may occasionally encounter loud noise, fumes, airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. Work may involve chemicals with hazardous exposure profiles as detailed on accessible Safety Data Sheets (SDS). Expect exposure to significant temperature changes during an eight-hour shift.

Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.
Second Shift:
