RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate powder coating spray guns and other equipment. Mix powders according to the manufacturer's specifications. Apply powder coatings evenly and consistently to surfaces using spray guns. Adjust spray equipment for proper application, including thickness and color. Inspect finished products for quality, ensuring that the coating is smooth, uniform, and free of defects. Identify and correct any coating flaws, such as uneven thickness, runs, or contamination. Rework or touch up coated items as necessary to meet quality standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in assembly or a manufacturing setting. Ability to read and comprehend written and oral instructions. Excellent communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to consistently produce quality work. Must be detail oriented. Excellent hand/eye coordination. Must be able to lift and carry at least 30 pounds occasionally. Must be able to stand up for at least 10 hours a day. Must be flexible to work in various stations. Must be able to work overtime if needed. Must stay focused in fast-paced work environment.
