Our headquarters is located in Richmond, Kentucky, just off I-75. We are an authorized dealer for Prinoth equipment. We are seeking a self-driven field service/shop technician who understands the heavy equipment industry, enjoys working directly with contractors and operators, and knows how to build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business. Key Responsibilities × Prepare equipment for painting, including washing, degreasing, sanding, masking, and minor surface repairs. × Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray equipment and other tools. × Perform touch-ups and full repaints on heavy machinery, attachments, and components. × Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and consistency are met. × Maintain paint shop equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and organized condition. × Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of paints and chemicals. × Assist with minor bodywork, dent repair, and surface preparation as needed. × Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize equipment needs. × Track materials usage and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or heavy equipment refinishing preferred.
Knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and surface preparation.
Ability to operate spray guns, compressors, and related equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Compensation & Benefits
