Richmond, KY Kentucky Machinery Company LLC Since 2013, Kentucky Machinery Company LLC has specialized in heavy equipment rental and sales, offering a strong inventory of late-model equipment and a reputation for building long-term customer relationships through dependable equipment and responsive service. Our headquarters is located in Richmond, Kentucky, just off I-75. We are an authorized dealer for Prinoth equipment. We are seeking a self-driven field service/shop technician who understands the heavy equipment industry, enjoys working directly with contractors and operators, and knows how to build long-term relationships that lead to repeat business. Key Responsibilities × Prepare equipment for painting, including washing, degreasing, sanding, masking, and minor surface repairs. × Apply primers, paints, and protective coatings using spray equipment and other tools. × Perform touch-ups and full repaints on heavy machinery, attachments, and components. × Inspect finished work to ensure quality standards and consistency are met. × Maintain paint shop equipment, tools, and work area in a clean and organized condition. × Follow all safety procedures, including proper handling and storage of paints and chemicals. × Assist with minor bodywork, dent repair, and surface preparation as needed. × Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams to prioritize equipment needs. × Track materials usage and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in industrial painting, automotive painting, or heavy equipment refinishing preferred.
  • Knowledge of paint mixing, application techniques, and surface preparation.
  • Ability to operate spray guns, compressors, and related equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Compensation & Benefits
