Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to a variety of surfaces across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance structural integrity, and ensure high-quality results that meet safety standards and client expectations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation and restoration to new construction, utilizing your skills in surface preparation, application techniques, and color coordination. Duties Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, plastering, and applying primers to ensure optimal adhesion and finish quality Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (conventional and airless), power tools, and hand tools to apply coatings accurately and efficiently Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and surface specifications to determine appropriate painting methods and materials Perform structural painting tasks such as stucco, masonry, concrete finishing, and industrial coating applications on different surfaces Conduct surface preparation for construction spray painting and site restoration projects while adhering to safety regulations and protocols Select appropriate colors based on visual color comparison techniques and client specifications using knowledge of color theory Follow safety procedures including the use of respiratory protection equipment and compliance with safety regulations on construction sites Assist with renovation projects by installing fixtures, trim carpentry, framing, drywall finishing, and general handyman tasks as needed Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in accordance with safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, or industrial coating applications with a strong understanding of construction site practices Skilled in surface preparation techniques such as sanding, caulking, plastering, and masonry work Proficient in using various painting tools including brushes, rollers, paint sprayers (airless and conventional), power tools, and hand tools Ability to read blueprints, schematics, schematics or technical drawings for accurate project execution Knowledge of safety regulations related to construction painting environments including respiratory protection protocols Familiarity with color theory principles for effective visual color matching and coordination Experience with renovation projects involving fixture installation or remodeling is a plus Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses or material quantities Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship in both surface preparation and finishing touches Join our team to bring vibrant transformations to life!
