Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Industrial Cleaning & Painting Crew (6person) to join a dynamic team for an upcoming 3 to 4-day project. This role involves performing comprehensive cleaning and painting tasks on industrial structures, ensuring high-quality finishes and adherence to safety standards. The ideal team will consist of six motivated professionals ready to contribute their skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and applying primers as needed, following construction surface preparation protocols. Execute various painting techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (conventional and airless), and coating applications on structural and industrial surfaces. Use hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, ladders, and other equipment safely to access hard-to-reach areas while maintaining strict safety protocol adherence. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and surface specifications to ensure precise application of paint and coatings. Perform site cleanup and disposal of debris in compliance with safety regulations; maintain a tidy work environment throughout the project duration. Assist with restoration tasks such as plastering, stucco application, fixture installation, and minor carpentry repairs including trim carpentry and framing as needed. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to all safety regulations including respiratory protection measures. Skills Experience with construction estimating and reading blueprints or schematics for accurate project execution. Proficiency in residential, commercial, and industrial painting techniques including brush, roller, spray (airless or conventional), and surface preparation methods. Knowledge of color theory to ensure color matching and visual consistency across surfaces. Ability to operate ladders safely and efficiently; familiarity with scaffolding is a plus. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers, and other relevant equipment for surface finishing tasks. Strong understanding of safety regulations related to construction painting environments; committed to safety protocol adherence and respiratory protection practices. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience interpreting technical drawings or schematics is advantageous.
