Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Painter/Finisher, where your expertise will bring precision and quality to our production processes. In this role, you will be responsible for applying coatings, finishing surfaces, and ensuring that all painted components meet strict quality standards. Your attention to detail will contribute to delivering top-tier products that meet client specifications and safety protocols. Duties Prepare surfaces through construction painting surface preparation techniques, including sanding, cleaning, and masking to ensure optimal coating adherence Operate spray guns such as conventional spray guns. Use hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment to assemble, fabricate, or modify parts prior to finishing processes Interpret production documents and technical specifications to ensure coatings are applied according to exact requirements Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols by using personal protective equipment (PPE), respirators, and respiratory protection at all times during painting operations Handle materials carefully within warehouse environments, ensuring proper materials handling for coatings and substrates Conduct visual color comparisons and inspections to verify finish quality aligns with client expectations and quality standards in production Skills Proficiency with industrial painting techniques including powder coating, auto body repair, and construction painting surface preparation Experience operating coating and painting spray guns along with airless paint spraying systems Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes within manufacturing settings Ability to interpret production documents accurately while applying coatings or finishing surfaces accordingly Familiarity with the use of precision measuring instruments for quality control purposes Knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respirator fitting, safety protocol adherence, and working safely around cranes or heavy machinery Warehouse experience combined with materials handling skills for efficient workflow management Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to coating thicknesses or material quantities Embark on a rewarding career where your craftsmanship elevates our products' quality!
