Cinnaminson, NJ Shift/Pay:
5 Days a week 7:00AM

  • 28 Job Description We are seeking experienced Industrial Painters for our 1st Shift (6:00 AM
  • 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday) positions.
As an Industrial Painter, you will work on metal containers and similar products in a production, industrial, or manufacturing painting setting. Candidates must be familiar with airless spray pumps and HVLP spray equipment. Your primary responsibilities will include painting, finishing, and maintaining a variety of interior and exterior surfaces and structures. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces for painting and finishing. Apply undercoats and finish coats using a full range of application methods and materials. Mix and match paints and finishes, and advise on selection and storage of painting materials. Work with paint suit (Tyvek full body) and respirator (half-piece face mask). Identify, correct, and report safety hazards to prevent accidents. Identify and pursue cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities. Support the
ISO 9001
Quality Management System with self-inspection of work products. Stencil lettering and identifying information on vehicles according to specifications. Select paint according to company color scheme and specifications. Stir paint, pour into spray container, and apply primer or finish coat using spray gun. Paint areas inaccessible to gun with a paintbrush. Disassemble and clean paint equipment using solvent, wire brushes, and dry cloth. Lift production objects up to 50 lbs. Maintain a consistent state of alertness and safe manner while performing essential job functions. Skills Experience in industrial painting within a manufacturing or production environment. Familiarity with airless spray pumps and HVLP spray equipment. Ability to work with a paint suit and respirator. Knowledge of paint equipment and different paint systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications High School Diploma or GED preferred. 2+ years of industrial painting experience, ideally with metal. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is generally warm as it is a non-climate-controlled facility. The position reports to the Paint Department Supervisor. Available shifts include 1st shift (7:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday) and 2nd shift (Monday to Thursday, 3:30 PM
  • 2:00 AM). Training occurs on the day shift for approximately 1-2 months before transitioning to the 2nd shift. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cinnaminson, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00
