Prior powder coat painting training or related industrial painting certification preferred. Ability to read and understand work instructions, safety procedures, and production documentation. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Experience Requirements Previous powder coat painting or industrial spray painting experience required. Experience operating electrostatic coating equipment, spray booths, conveyors, and related production machinery. Ability to inspect finished products and make equipment adjustments to maintain coating quality. Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and time management skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions while working independently or as part of a team. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and repetitive hand movements. Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to paint fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, moving equipment, and high noise levels. Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Job Duties Operate electrostatic powder coating equipment, including cone, disk, and nozzle spray systems. Set and adjust paint flow, air pressure, conveyor systems, and coating application settings. Monitor powder coat mixtures and maintain specified coating standards. Inspect finished parts for coverage, thickness, and quality, correcting coating defects as needed. Perform touch-up painting and apply rust-preventative coatings when required. Clean and maintain paint booths, spray equipment, hoses, hooks, and related production equipment. Support production goals through cross-training and assisting in other departments as needed.
