Pay & Schedule Pay:
$21.00 to $24.65 per hour + $1.75 shift differential Pay is based on experience. 1st and 2nd shift opportunities are available , with overtime typically available on Fridays and Saturdays. What You'll Do As an Industrial Painter, you'll apply paint and protective coatings to towing and recovery equipment using spray equipment, brushes, and other painting tools. You'll prepare surfaces, mix paints, mask and unmask parts, apply decals and coatings, and inspect finished products to make sure they meet quality standards. You'll also: Prime, paint, and touch up vehicles and equipment Prepare surfaces by sanding, washing, and conditioning parts Mix paints to achieve the proper color, consistency, and viscosity Operate and maintain spray guns, pumps, tanks, heaters, and other painting equipment Clean and prepare equipment during color changes Apply decals, stencils, and rust proofing as needed Inspect products before, during, and after the painting process Move parts and equipment using carts, racks, forklifts, or overhead cranes Keep your work area and equipment clean and organized Perform basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance What We're Looking For We're looking for candidates with at least 6 months of automotive, heavy vehicle, equipment, manufacturing, industrial, or body shop painting experience . Strong math skills and basic mechanical aptitude are important, along with the ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues when needed.
