Job Description
Industrial Painters Kaufman Trailers is hiring industrial painters at our Bennettsville, SC location. We are seeking hardworking, dependable individuals to join our paint team. Previous automotive or industrial painting experience is required. Responsibilities include applying primer and paint according to work order specifications, inspecting finished paint quality, and using a forklift to load and unload trailers into the paint booth. Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for primer and paint to ensure proper coating adhesion.
- Confirm that all primer and paint mixing and spray equipment operates within specifications and applies material at the proper mil thickness.
- Inspect finished surfaces to ensure paint quality meets specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning spray guns, lines, and paint booths, and changing filters as needed.
