Job Description
Industrial Paint Primer - HVLP Spray Gun Experience Required Maryville, TN | $18.46 - $20.21/hr | Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM 3-day weekends, every weekend! Are you a skilled industrial painter who takes pride in quality and detail? We're looking for an experienced Paint Primer to join our team at Boatmate Trailers in Maryville, TN. If you've got HVLP spray gun experience—or have worked with gelcoat—we'd love to talk to you. ✅ What You'll Do Spray paint and primer on boat trailer components using HVLP spray guns and other tools Prep surfaces: apply caulk, body filler, sand, and seal for smooth finishes Mix and measure paints to match color specs Visually inspect work and monitor quality—fix imperfections like dry spots or runs Use and maintain paint booths, paint lines, and drying equipment Follow safety procedures and dispose of materials properly Work in an air suit with proper PPE ✅ What You Bring 1+ year of industrial or automotive painting experience Experience with HVLP spray guns, electrostatic sprayers, or similar equipment Strong attention to detail and pride in your work Comfort working in various positions (overhead, kneeling, etc.) Able to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented shop ✅ Why Work With Us? 3-day weekends every week Steady hours - no rotating shifts Clean, organized work environment Supportive team and cross-training opportunities Advancement potential for reliable, motivated team players If you're dependable, safety-focused, and ready to turn raw metal into polished, high-quality products, apply today.
