Duties Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers using hand tools and power tools to ensure optimal adhesion of coatings Apply paints, stains, primers, and protective coatings with spray guns or brushes across diverse surfaces including steel and aluminum. Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute coating specifications on various building components Inspect completed work for quality assurance, ensuring smooth finishes and proper coverage while adhering to safety protocols Operate heavy equipment as needed for surface preparation or material handling in outdoor work environments Maintain a clean work area by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in compliance with safety standards Skills Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and spray equipment for painting and surface preparation Strong understanding of construction management principles and ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans Experience with painting steel and aluminum Knowledge of safety protocols specific to industrial painting environments and outdoor construction sites Ability to operate heavy equipment safely in outdoor settings while maintaining productivity Construction experience encompassing painting steel and aluminum.
