AM Pay Rate:
$18.00-$19.00/hr + $1.25/hr shift differential Position Overview We are seeking an Industrial Painter to join a growing manufacturing operation in Roanoke, TX. This position is responsible for preparing metal parts and fabricated components for the painting process. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with paint preparation, surface preparation, and finishing tools and materials and be comfortable working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components. This is a hands-on manufacturing position requiring strong attention to detail, quality, and safety. Key Responsibilities Prepare metal surfaces and fabricated parts for painting and finishing Use manual tools and equipment to complete paint preparation and manufacturing tasks Work from drawings, blueprints, models, specifications, and verbal instructions Use measuring instruments to check and verify dimensions and tolerances Follow established manufacturing processes and work instructions Work with a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum Perform production and quality checks to ensure parts meet engineering specifications and quality standards Meet daily production requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards Perform basic equipment maintenance and change tooling as required Complete required manual and electronic production documentation Maintain accurate records associated with manufacturing operations Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing requirements Maintain a clean and organized work area Qualifications High school diploma or GED Previous experience with paint preparation and finishing tools and materials Experience working in a manufacturing, fabrication, automotive, industrial paint, or similar hands-on environment preferred Ability to read and follow drawings, blueprints, specifications, and work instructions Comfortable using measuring instruments and manual tools Basic math skills and ability to perform manufacturing-related calculations Familiarity working with steel, stainless steel, and aluminum preferred Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Good organizational and time-management skills Ability to accurately complete production documentation Familiarity with ERP/business software systems Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record If you have experience with paint prep, surface preparation, metal finishing, or similar manufacturing work and are looking for a full-time 2nd shift opportunity, we encourage you to apply.
