POSITION SUMMARY
The Paint Prep Line Worker is responsible for preparing products for the painting process in a manufacturing environment. This role involves cleaning and inspecting parts to ensure they meet quality standards before they move to the paint booth. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
Clean and degrease parts with acetone to remove contaminants. Sand, grind, and mask parts as needed to ensure proper paint adhesion Hang, position, and secure parts on the paint line racks. Inspect parts for defects and ensure they meet quality standards. Maintains punctual attendance and notifies supervisors in advance of any absences or tardiness. Maintains a safe, compliant work environment by following OSHA and company standards and reporting hazards or maintenance needs to the supervisor. Complies with PPE requirements and participates in safety training, drills, and incident reporting. Accurately complete and submit daily production sheets to the supervisor. Ensure that all prints remain with the correct parts throughout the process. Contributes to team effort and completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Verbal Communication, Functional and Technical Skills, Coordination, Attention to Detail, Judgment, Manual Dexterity (use of hands), Physical Strength (lift/move up to 45 lbs.), Physical Stamina (stand for extended periods) Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, airborne particles, chemicals, and/or fumes The warehouse temperature fluctuates due to weather conditions Noise level can be loud, at times
