Responsibilities Surface Preparation:

Clean, sand, mask, and pretreat metal surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and a flawless finish.

Coating Application:

Operate spray equipment to apply primers, paints, and protective coatings to metal parts and assemblies.

Quality Inspection:

Conduct visual inspections to identify runs, sags, or uneven coverage, making necessary adjustments to maintain a high-quality output.

Equipment Maintenance:

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of spray guns, booths, and ventilation systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.

Safety Compliance:

Strictly follow all safety guidelines, including the proper use of respirators and PPE, and ensure the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Qualifications Experience:

2+ years of experience in industrial painting or automotive refinishing preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with airless, HVLP, or conventional spray systems; experience with powder coating is a plus. Attention to

Detail:

Ability to read and interpret blueprints or work orders to determine specific coating requirements.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for long periods, wear a respirator, and lift up to 50 lbs.
