Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Painter to join our dynamic construction and renovation team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering top-quality painting services across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces with precision and attention to detail, ensuring surfaces are beautifully finished and protected. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your technical skills and passion for craftsmanship to make a lasting impact. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces through cleaning, sanding, plastering, drywall installation, caulking, and surface priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality Apply paint using various techniques including brush painting, roller painting, spray painting (including airless and conventional spray systems), and coating application on different surfaces such as walls, ceilings, trim, stucco, masonry, and structural elements Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications to accurately execute project requirements Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete painting tasks while adhering to all safety regulations and protocols Perform surface preparation for construction painting projects including sanding, scraping, patching, and surface repairs to ensure a smooth finish Mix paints and coatings accurately based on color theory principles; utilize visual color comparison techniques for consistent results Maintain a clean work environment by properly storing tools and disposing of waste materials in accordance with safety standards Collaborate with project managers, carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople to coordinate tasks efficiently during renovation or restoration projects Install fixtures or accessories as needed during renovation or maintenance tasks Qualifications Proven experience in residential painting, commercial painting, industrial painting, or construction site painting with a strong portfolio of completed projects Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (including airless systems), brushes, rollers, and conventional spray equipment Knowledge of construction estimating processes related to painting scope of work Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and surface specifications accurately Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including respiratory protection and safety protocol adherence Strong understanding of surface preparation techniques such as plastering, drywall finishing, caulking, masonry repairs, stucco application, and fixture installation Basic math skills for measurements and calculations; experience with blueprint reading is preferred Ability to work at heights using ladders safely; experience with scaffold setup is a plus Excellent attention to detail with an eye for color matching using visual comparison methods Physical stamina to perform manual tasks over extended periods; capable of lifting heavy materials when necessary Join our team if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert craftsmanship! $20.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 - 40.0 per week
