Laurel, MS Equal Opportunity Employer Vet/Disabled Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Controls Wiring Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for building, wiring, and assembling high-quality custom electrical control panels and industrial equipment. The ideal candidate possesses a strong ability to read complex electrical schematics, exhibits excellent manual dexterity, and maintains a sharp focus on safety and precision. Responsibilities
    Panel & Sub-Assembly Fabrication:
    Fabricate electrical sub-assemblies and wire custom control panels in strict accordance with detailed instructions and schematics.
      Equipment Wiring:
      Hard-wire industrial equipment and systems based on engineering drawings and blueprints.
        Blueprint Reading:
        Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements and assembly instructions.
          Quality Assurance & Troubleshooting:
          Inspect, adjust, repair, or replace electrical component parts to correct defects, ensuring all finished products conform to quality specifications.
            Process Improvement:
            Continually evaluate and improve build processes to ensure safe, efficient, and quality- driven practices are always in place.
              Safety & Workplace Maintenance:
              Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment through a dedicated program of daily cleaning and adherence to safety protocols. Skills/Qualifications
              • Proven experience as an electrical assembler, panel builder, or wiring technician.
              • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and point-to-point wiring diagrams.
              • Proficiency with standard hand and power tools (e.g., wire strippers, crimpers, drills, terminal block screwdrivers).
              • Good understanding of electrical components (relays, PLCs, VFDs, switches, breakers).
              • Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a commitment to high-quality craftsmanship.
              • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
