JOB SUMMARY:
Serves as the primary field technician responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining campus
wide building automation and control systems. This role will identify and resolve system inefficiencies to implement energy
cost
and performance-based improvements.
On Call 24-7-365.
JOB FUNCTIONS
Inspection, installation and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems, including associated control systems including the Building Automation System
Perform routine and preventive maintenance to increase the longevity and efficiency of HVAC systems and controls
Calibrate and adjust thermostats, valves, and other controls for optimal performance
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with HVAC equipment and controls
Ensure all installations and repairs meet safety and quality standards, adhering to relevant codes and regulations. Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams related to HVAC installations.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High School (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, composition and math. Knowledge of HVAC Controls Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams. Excellent Problem-Solving Skills. Knowledge of Building Automation Systems
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
2-5 years as an HVAC Controls Technician. Certificate in HVAC, Controls, or Building Maintenance Technology
