The Valve Technician is responsible for the assembly, automation, and testing of control valves and self-operated regulators in accordance with sales orders, technical drawings, and quality standards. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to ensure each valve meets company and customer specifications.
Essential Job Functions:
Perform assembly , automation, and testing of control valves and self-operated regulators in accordance with sales orders and technical documentation. Follow established quality control and assurance procedures to ensure compliance with company and industry standards. Conduct visual inspections and verify work accuracy against submitted drawings and specifications. Operate tools, test benches, and measuring devices accurately and safely. Identify and report nonconforming materials or products to supervision. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety policies. Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to assembly and testing processes. Other duties as assigned by Production Manager.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong mechanical aptitude Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality, reliable assemblies Basic understanding of industrial tools, pneumatic and electrical systems, and test equipment Ability to work independently and within a team in a fast-paced environment Effective communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED 1 Year Experience in warehouse, assembly and valve industry. Experienced in manufacturing and mechanical assembly of parts and components Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
