What To Expect:

\nThe Measurement Technician, Goliad Gas Plant will monitor volumes and is the first to identify potential needs for preventative maintenance. Measurement Technicians will maintain field meters to inform the Company and our customers about pipeline flows and pressures. The Measurement Technician is focused on the following: High BTU meters >1100 BTU and >250 MCFD Online or portable GC's (Plant and Field), and LACT•Lease Automatic Custody Transfer Units (Plant and Field). •This position requires the successful completion of an online assessment. What You'll Do:

Performing complex calibration, troubleshooting, and repair tasks\nHandling discrepancy identification and resolution. (L&U, quality shifts, etc.)\nTraining and mentoring of new or less skilled employees\nMeasuring high and low pressure gathering systems\nInstallation, programming, and calibration of Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) computers\nCalculating volume rates and size orifice plates to set flow rates\nCollecting gas and liquid samples\nInstalling, operating, and maintaining gas and liquid sampling systems\nInstalling, programming, maintaining, and calibrating portable and stationary gas chromatographs\nScheduling, completing, and witnessing flow tests on wells using open flow orifice meters and portable meter runs\nRoutine inspecting, calibrating, and repairing of meter and associated equipment (meter tube/plates, ultrasonic meter, Coriolis meters, and flow computers)\nRoutine inspecting, maintaining and repairing of communications equipment and sampling system\nPerforming product composition and quality sampling and testing\nWorking autonomously at varying times and in diverse weather conditions, at remote field locations\nParticipating and successfully completing training programs, risk management reviews, and safety meetings required to comply with state and federal regulations and company policy\nReviewing and following procedures as necessary to ensure compliance with all company and industry standards to meet all regulatory agency requirements\nAccurately completing documentation such as timesheets, Testit work orders, safe job plans/work permits, and regulatory reports\nOptimizing work in the most effective (efficient and leveraging priority) manner, in alignment with the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) and within the tenets of S.A.F.E. and Stop Work Authority\nMaintaining facility appearance and safety through good housekeeping practices\nEffectively utilizing tools and test equipment as needed\nResponding to operational emergencies as a member of an emergency response team\nPerforming and accurately documenting regulatory required inspections\nOverseeing contractors providing specialty services (Quality Assurance, Quality Control)\nInstalling, maintaining, and troubleshooting process controls and regulation\nMaintaining and troubleshooting condensate Automatic Tank Gauging (ATG) equipment\nMaintaining and operating measurement Orifice meters tube and Ultrasonic tubes\nWitnessing LACT skid proving\nInstalling and maintaining radio communications on EFM\nInstalling, maintaining, and troubleshooting gas quality analyzers\nInstalling and maintaining different types of overpressure protection valves\nInstalling and maintaining portable and stationary O2 analyzers What You'll Bring•
