DMAero is seeking an experienced Electronics Assembly Technician to assemble electronic components, circuit boards, cables, and electro-mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings and work instructions. This position requires strong leadership, technical aptitude, customer engagement skills, and experience managing complex engineering efforts in a government contracting environment. Essential Responsibilities

• Perform soldering and rework of through-hole and surface mount (SMT) components.
• Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and maintain ESD-safe work practices at all times.
• Read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and work instructions.
• Perform visual inspections to ensure assemblies meet workmanship and quality standards.
• Identify and report nonconforming materials or assembly issues.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and manufacturing records.
• Assist with prototype builds and low-volume production.
• Support inventory organization and proper handling of electronic components.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve assembly issues and improve processes. Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of electronics assembly experience (aerospace, defense, industrial, or similar preferred).
• Familiarity with ESD control procedures and ESD-safe workstations.
• Experience with basic soldering techniques and electronic assemblies.
• Ability to operate basic electronics test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, oscilloscopes and other common test equipment.
• Ability to use basic measurement tools such as calipers, rulers, and micrometers.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools and use of specialized tools such as torque wrenches.
• Ability to read assembly drawings and basic electrical schematics.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good manual dexterity and ability to work with small electronic components.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds as needed. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cable and wire harness assembly.
• Experience working with ESD sensitive CCA and equipment.
• Experience using multimeters and other basic electronic test equipment.
• Experience in aerospace, military, or defense manufacturing.
• Familiarity with

ISO 9001

quality systems.
