Responsibilities Assemble mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate assembly. Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances. Read and interpret shop math calculations and technical specifications to support accurate assembly processes. Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process, ensuring adherence to blueprint specifications and production standards. Handle manual tasks including component fitting, soldering (if required), and the use of mechanical assembly techniques. Maintain a clean and safe workspace by following proper personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols and safety procedures at all times. Qualifications Proven experience with mechanical assembly or manufacturing environments. Strong knowledge of mechanical blueprint interpretation and schematic reading. Skilled in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools. Familiarity with shop math principles relevant to manufacturing tasks. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and other specialized industrial equipment safely. Basic understanding of machining processes and soldering techniques (nice-to-have). Capable of manual handling of parts and components with attention to safety standards. Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control throughout the assembly process.
