Job Description

Mechanical Assembler Marshall County, IL Pay:

$16.50-$17.50/hour DOE Why You'll Love This Role Join a team that builds large generator enclosures used in critical power solutions. This is a great opportunity for individuals with mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, and hands-on experience who are looking for stable work and the chance to grow in a manufacturing environment. What You'll Do Assemble large generator enclosure components according to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, prints, drawings, and work instructions Position, fit, and fasten parts and subassemblies accurately Measure completed components to verify specifications and quality standards Troubleshoot assembly issues and work with team leads to resolve problems Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Assist with shipping preparation and ensure shipping requirements are met What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of blueprint reading experience Minimum 1 year of mechanical assembly experience Ability to use hand tools safely and effectively High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable attendance and safety-focused mindset Work Environment Lifting, bending, reaching, and other physical activities Performing awkward or strenuous movements when necessary Working around forklifts and material-handling equipment
