Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and reliable Machine Operator/Assembler to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating various machines, assembling products according to specifications, conducting quality control checks, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. This role requires mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Operate and monitor a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery (e.g., drill presses, assembly machines, etc.) in a safe and efficient manner. Position and align components and parts, manually to build subassemblies and finished products. Conduct quality control checks, visually inspecting products for defects and using measuring instruments to verify specifications. Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and the work area to ensure operational efficiency and a safe working environment (following 5S standards).
Experience:
Proven experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or related production role is often preferred (on-the-job training may be provided for entry-level positions).
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and relevant machinery. Ability to read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
Other Skills:
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Strong problem-solving abilities. Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
Pay:
$15.50 - $20.00 per hour
