Day Shift Help for . Mechanical Assembler - CAS Mechanical Assemblers work as part of a production team to build or assemble air compressors. This role requires the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, and proficiency with a variety of hand and power tools. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods and perform a wide range of tasks in a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Assembling air compressors, equipment, and subassemblies using hand tools and power tools as required.
Read and interpret build diagrams and schematic drawings to determine assembly and installation procedures.
Prepare for a build by reviewing parts lists and ensuring the required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials are present.
Install air compressor components according to step-by-step build diagrams and schematic drawings.
Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position parts and subassemblies during production of an air compressor.
Position and align parts using templates, measurement tools, or layout specifications.
Inspect your builds for mechanical issues, irregularities, and malfunctions.
Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective components.
Maintain a safe work environment by following all applicable safety requirements and reporting unsafe conditions immediately.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
4-day 10-hour shift 3-Day weekend
